Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and medication administration
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Manage electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Handle inventory management for medical supplies and equipment
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions
- Support clinic operations scheduling and triage functions
Qualifications
- Current Arizona Medical Assistant certification or RMA/CMA credential
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent required
