Responsibilities
- Perform routine medical examinations and accurately measure vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse).
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare patients for examination and record comprehensive medical histories.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, EKGs, and point-of-care testing as directed.
- Administer medications and injections under strict physician supervision.
- Manage patient intake, insurance verification, and maintain accurate Electronic Health Records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Familiarity with medical software and Electronic Health Records systems.
