Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in patients with warmth and efficiency, ensuring accurate registration and insurance verification.
- Assist providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments in a clinical setting.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and weight.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary medical equipment and supplies for daily use.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and phlebotomy as required by the facility.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and electronic health records (EHR).
- Handle patient inquiries and provide education on medications and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) is preferred.
- CPR/BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required.
- 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong computer proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of patients.
- Must be available for immediate start.
