Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Perform vital signs measurements and accurate documentation in EHR systems
- Administer injections, medications, and wound care under provider supervision
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and ensure exam rooms are fully stocked
- Coordinate patient scheduling and maintain confidential medical records
- Assist with laboratory procedures including specimen collection and processing
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently
