Responsibilities
- Accurately measure and record patient vital signs, height, and weight.
- Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during clinical procedures.
- Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as EKGs and phlebotomy, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, addressing inquiries with empathy.
- Assist with inventory management of medical supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EHR) is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Reliable transportation for occasional off-site duties.
