Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with medical procedures.
- Take and record vital signs accurately (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate).
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urine analysis, and prepare specimens.
- Administer medications as directed by the provider and monitor patient reactions.
- Manage patient records and ensure Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Greet patients warmly and answer phones in a professional, courteous manner.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Basic computer proficiency with MS Office.
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and thrive in a clinical setting.
