Responsibilities

  • Patient Care: Greet patients, verify demographics, and prepare them for examinations.
  • Vitals & Admin: Accurately measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, weight) and administer EKGs.
  • Assistance: Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during exams and minor procedures.
  • Inventory & Safety: Maintain exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and manage medical supply inventory.
  • Charting: Update electronic health records (EHR) and complete necessary documentation promptly.
  • Communication: Relay clear instructions to patients and collaborate effectively with the front desk team.

Qualifications

  • Certification: Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) certification required.
  • Licensure: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and/or ACLS certification.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office setting preferred.
