Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, and injections
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage patient flow and room preparation
- Handle administrative duties: scheduling, EMR documentation, and billing
- Maintain sterile exam rooms and inventory control
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic, Athenahealth preferred)
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- COVID-19 vaccination required
