Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient intake, including recording medical histories, vitals, and symptoms.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and administer medications and injections following strict safety protocols.
- Manage and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and patient charts.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and referral services.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized clinical environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Qualifications
- Current CMA, RMA, or MA certification from an accredited institution.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems (Epic, AthenaHealth, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient privacy.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and holidays as scheduled.
