Responsibilities
- Perform clinical assessments including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries.
- Manage patient flow and maintain immaculate exam rooms.
- Administer medications and vaccines per physician protocols.
- Document encounters accurately in EHR systems (Epic/EMR).
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and medical supplies.
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care.
Qualifications
- Active California Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA/NCMA).
- BLS/CPR certification required (AHA preferred).
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care.
- Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems (Epic experience a plus).
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities.
