Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, including medical history and vital signs assessment.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment according to protocols.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during clinical procedures.
- Manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.
- Greet patients, answer phones, and direct inquiries professionally.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider.
- Coordinate with billing and insurance departments for claims processing.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility for overtime.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR software.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass background checks.
