Responsibilities
- Perform routine vital signs and patient intake assessments accurately.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment, exam rooms, and sterile instruments.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens (blood, urine, etc.) following strict protocols.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital safety standards.
- Manage patient records and electronic health records (EHR) efficiently.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in phlebotomy and EKG procedures is a plus.
