Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional virtual patient support via telemedicine platforms
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, and specimen collection
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Assist providers during virtual and in-person examinations
- Coordinate patient care across multidisciplinary teams
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA/NCMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in hospital/urgent care
- Proficiency with telemedicine platforms (e.g., Teladoc, Amwell)
- Expertise in EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong communication and technical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
