Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, including taking vital signs and recording medical histories accurately.
- Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments to ensure patient comfort.
- Perform phlebotomy duties and prepare laboratory specimens for analysis.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed physicians and nurses.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized clinical environment.
- Update and manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or MA) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinic setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict protocols.
