Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and medical history collection accurately.
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare patients for exams and ensure exam rooms are sanitized and stocked.
- Administer injections, blood draws, and EKGs as directed by providers.
- Manage patient records, including updating electronic health records (EHR).
- Coordinate appointments, referrals, and laboratory tests.
- Provide excellent customer service and patient education regarding medications and treatments.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification required.
- 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting is a plus.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
