Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and medical history collection accurately.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) efficiently and maintain strict patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
- Coordinate laboratory tests and communicate results to patients.
- Handle front desk duties including appointment scheduling and insurance verification.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary examination room.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and basic anatomy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy clinical environment.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
