Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Accurately measure vital signs and document patient information
- Administer injections and medications as prescribed
- Maintain clean, organized examination rooms and sterilize equipment
- Coordinate patient flow and communicate with healthcare teams
- Perform basic laboratory tests and process specimens
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduation from accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) within 90 days of hire
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
