Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and verify personal information accurately upon check-in.
- Assist providers with patient examinations, take vital signs, and prepare medical records.
- Perform basic laboratory tasks, including blood draws and specimen processing.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) and maintain strict patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Coordinate patient appointments and handle incoming inquiries professionally.
- Assist with clinical procedures and prepare treatment rooms for daily operations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; CMA or RMA certification is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with EHR systems is an asset.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment.
