Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and collect necessary demographic and insurance information.
- Measure and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms with medical instruments and supplies.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urine analysis or blood draws.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the front desk reception area.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and maintain accurate medical records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be willing to obtain Medical Assistant certification or complete training programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
