Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by assisting with history taking and vitals.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and administer medications as directed.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.
- Coordinate patient follow-ups and appointment scheduling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Medical Assistant (MA) credential preferred (Entry level candidates with relevant coursework accepted).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Current BLS certification (We will help you obtain this).
