Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by assisting with exam rooms and maintaining medical supplies.
- Record patient medical history, vital signs, and information into electronic health records (EHR) systems accurately.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, administer medications, and draw blood as directed by physicians.
- Explain treatment procedures, medications, and doctors' instructions to patients in a clear and professional manner.
- Coordinate patient flow to ensure timely appointments and minimal wait times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; CMA or RMA certification is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level applicants.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive and compassionate attitude.
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new software systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients or equipment as needed.
