As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with our physicians and nursing staff to ensure our patients receive the highest standard of care. You will have the chance to develop your clinical skills while enjoying a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Take vital signs, record medical history, and prepare patients for examinations.
- Clinical Procedures: Assist providers with minor procedures, administer injections, and perform basic phlebotomy (blood draws).
- Front Desk Support: Greet patients, check them in, and manage patient check-out processes.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) and medical charts.
- Coordination: Schedule appointments, coordinate laboratory tests, and prepare referral letters.
- Communication: Educate patients on medications, diet, and post-care instructions.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; completion of a Medical Assistant program is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level applicants.
- Certification: Current CMA or RMA certification is a plus; we provide training for the right candidates.
- Experience: No prior experience required; however, previous customer service or healthcare experience is a plus.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and proficiency with electronic health record systems.
- Personal: Strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a genuine desire to help others.
