Your Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature) and record accurate data.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) efficiently and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, processing insurance, and handling phone inquiries.
- Assist with basic lab procedures, including phlebotomy and EKGs.
- Foster a welcoming environment for all patients and families.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong computer skills with experience in EMR/EHR systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
