Job Overview:
In this role, you will support physicians and nurses in daily clinical operations. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while performing essential administrative and clinical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes efficiently.
- Measure vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration) and record data accurately.
- Prepare patients for examination by assisting with changing or positioning.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures as needed.
- Maintain and update patient medical records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and stocked supplies.
- Collect and process lab specimens and blood draws as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; CMA or Phlebotomy certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a medical setting is a plus but not mandatory (entry-level training provided).
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification required.
