Responsibilities
- Perform clinical procedures including phlebotomy, ECG, and vital sign assessments
- Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, equipment, and sterile supplies
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Administer medications and immunizations per physician protocols
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up appointments
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Accredited Medical Assistant certificate or Associate's degree
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- State MA certification (required for FL positions)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR experience a plus)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
