Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures
- Perform vital sign checks, EKGs, and phlebotomy with precision
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems accurately and efficiently
- Administer injections and medications per provider protocols
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain exam room readiness
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Pennsylvania state medical assistant license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Meditech preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Flexible schedule availability (days/evenings/weekends)
