Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, including recording vital signs and medical history.
- Prepare exam rooms and medical equipment for physician examinations.
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient examinations.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Manage and maintain accurate patient records in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-up appointments.
- Ensure the clinic environment is clean, safe, and welcoming for all patients.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong computer proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliant).
