Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and diagnostic tests
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and basic lab procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision
- Administer medications and injections per physician protocols
- Schedule appointments and handle patient registration processes
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory control
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current MA certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification maintained
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Ability to work independently and in fast-paced settings
- Flexibility to cover day/evening/night shifts as needed
- Strong communication skills and cultural competency
- Texas license for cross-state travel opportunities
