Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and document medical histories
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and diagnostic tests
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and inventory supplies
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient education
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
- Basic ECG and phlebotomy certification
