Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination and assist physicians during medical procedures.
- Record patient medical history, symptoms, and vital signs accurately.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and administer medications as directed.
- Manage patient scheduling, confirm appointments, and handle incoming inquiries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized clinical environment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient flow.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Willingness to travel to Houston, TX and Illinois locations.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
