Responsibilities
- Perform administrative and clinical duties to assist physicians and healthcare providers.
- Prepare patients for examination and treatment, taking vital signs and recording medical history.
- Administer injections, medications, and vaccines as ordered by physicians.
- Draw blood and perform basic laboratory tests using approved techniques.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain accurate patient documentation.
- Coordinate patient appointments and handle incoming inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
- Certification or Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification required.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment efficiently.
