Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, including recording vital signs and medical history.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and administer medications and injections as directed.
- Manage and maintain accurate Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and follow-up appointments.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care plans.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) is strongly preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office setting preferred.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems (Epic, AthenaHealth, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team setting.
