Your Responsibilities
- Perform patient intakes, vitals assessment, and medical history reviews accurately.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures with precision and professionalism.
- Prepare and administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with strict adherence to HIPAA compliance.
- Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and follow-up appointments efficiently.
- Maintain a sterile environment and ensure proper sterilization of medical instruments.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification currently in good standing.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office setting.
- Strong proficiency in phlebotomy and basic EKG skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
