Responsibilities
- Perform clinical procedures including EKGs, vital sign monitoring, and specimen collection
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and minor surgical procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and efficiency
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Coordinate patient education and follow-up care plans
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory of medical supplies
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- CPR certification required
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
