Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and diagnostic tests
- Perform vital sign measurements, EKGs, and phlebotomy services
- Prepare patients for examinations and ensure clinical equipment is sterilized
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Administer medications and immunizations under provider supervision
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize clinic efficiency
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a fast-paced environment
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication skills and cultural competency
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure situations
- Valid California MA certification and TB clearance
