Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, including vital sign measurement and medical history documentation
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and diagnostic testing (EKG, injections, phlebotomy)
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by providers
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Maintain sterile environments and inventory of medical supplies
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- Strong phlebotomy and injection administration skills
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA
- Excellent communication skills and cultural competency
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Washington State MA license in good standing
