Responsibilities
- Perform clinical procedures including vital signs, EKGs, injections, and wound care
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by providers
- Collect and process laboratory specimens accurately
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory of medical supplies
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification
- Current BLS/CPR certification and Washington MA-C credential
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently
- Valid Washington State driver's license and reliable transportation
- Fluency in English; bilingual Spanish skills highly valued
