Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital signs and EKGs
- Administer injections and medications as directed
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Schedule patient appointments and manage office workflow
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Coordinate with insurance companies for billing
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Pennsylvania state license in good standing
- Background check and drug screen required
