Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including patient vitals, injections, EKGs, and specimen collection
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and remote patient scheduling
- Handle telehealth patient consultations and administrative follow-ups
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
- Coordinate referrals and lab results remotely
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work independently in remote settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility for hybrid schedule (3 remote days/week)
- Valid California MA license
