Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs, physical exams, and patient screenings accurately and efficiently.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth patient flow.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary medical equipment and supplies.
- Handle patient intake, medical record maintenance, and insurance verification.
- Administer medications and injections under the direct supervision of a licensed provider.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure high-quality care.
- Follow strict HIPAA guidelines and infection control protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
