Responsibilities
- Perform clinical procedures including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Assist providers with patient examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and efficiency
- Administer medications and immunizations under provider supervision
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment between patients
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize appointment schedules
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current MA certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- CPR/BLS certification (maintained current)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Associate's degree or medical assistant diploma
