Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and wound care
- Manage electronic health records and maintain accurate patient documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Administer medications and injections as per provider orders
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification and current MA license
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
