Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including patient vital signs, EKGs, and medication administration
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Assist providers with patient examinations and minor procedures
- Accurately document patient information in EMR systems
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals
Qualifications
- Accredited Medical Assistant program graduate or equivalent certification
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a medical setting
- CPR/BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- North Carolina Medical Assistant certification required
- Background check and drug screen clearance
