Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Perform vital sign measurements, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Manage patient flow, scheduling, and electronic health records
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Medical Assistant certificate preferred)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- Colorado Medical Assistant certification (or willingness to obtain)
