Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, injections, and wound care
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and minor procedures
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, medical equipment, and supplies
- Accurately document patient information in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Coordinate patient flow, schedule appointments, and handle administrative tasks
- Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and preventive care
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic protocols
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Phlebotomy and venipuncture skills required
- Proficiency with electronic health records and medical software
- BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Arizona fingerprint clearance card (or ability to obtain)
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
