Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and measurements accurately.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) with precision.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment.
- Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and lab orders.
- Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
- Current North Carolina Medical Assistant license (or eligibility).
- 1+ years of clinical experience preferred.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems (Epic, Athenahealth, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- BLS/ACLS certification required.
