Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient intake and accurate vital sign monitoring.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a sterile clinical environment.
- Assist providers during patient examinations and minor procedures.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with the highest level of accuracy and patient confidentiality.
- Coordinate patient follow-ups and efficiently manage appointment schedules.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Communicate effectively with patients to ensure a comfortable and welcoming experience.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Medical Assistant certification (RMA/MA) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a physician practice or clinic preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR software (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse healthcare team.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
