Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and medical history assessments with high accuracy.
- Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.
- Maintain and update patient medical records and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments according to safety protocols.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and referrals.
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision when qualified.
Qualifications
- Certification as a CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), or CCMA (NCMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic or AthenaHealth is a plus).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
