We are looking for a compassionate and organized individual to handle a variety of clinical and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Perform patient vitals, take medical histories, and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
- Clinical Support: Assist providers during examinations, minor office surgeries, and other clinical duties.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Documentation: Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient documentation.
- Administrative Duties: Schedule patient appointments, manage patient flow, and handle incoming calls professionally.
- Lab Work: Collect and process laboratory specimens, including blood draws and point-of-care testing, following CLIA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification: Current CMA, RMA, or NCMA certification is strongly preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification required.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting is highly preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency with electronic medical records software (Epic, AthenaHealth, Cerner).
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
