We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team in Denver, Colorado. We are looking for an immediate hire to start contributing to patient care right away.
As a key member of our clinical staff, you will ensure the smooth operation of our front and back office, providing exceptional service to our patients while maintaining the highest standards of care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment for patient visits.
- Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and patient information accurately.
- Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and EKGs as directed.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and ensure data integrity.
- Coordinate patient appointments and assist with front desk reception duties.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting is a plus.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
